My future job

Well, about my future job I have some ideas that could help me to take that difficult decision. In first place, I’ve always love music. It means a lot to me, in entertainment way and also in every time of my life so I’ve been looking for something to relative to it.

My dream job is working on radio. I think is the best mass media even more important than TV. And that is the reason why I’ve planned to study music or something about it in the future – after finish journalism-.

What can I say about my weakness? A lot.  I’m a little perfectionist so I always, in everything that I do, try to find what I do wrong or something like that. And that’s a big weakness because you’re never comfortable with yourself.

But it’s a strength too because trying to do the perfect things, you put the best of you on it. Another strength of myself is that I’m organized. I try to write list about the things that I have to do. But, one of my worst weakness is that I’m forgetful. My memory is the worst of the worst, and maybe that’s the reason why I have to write everything on my list.

Anyway, my dream is to be a music journalist and I’m work on it so hard to carry through.

See ya next time!

My Best Friend

Friendship to me is a very important thing in my life. Happily I can say that I have a best friend and she called Ana. We met at high school because we were classmates. So, we are friends since six years ago.

Honestly, despite we are different, because we both have different personalities, we are closer and we always try to keep in touch.

Ana is studying nursing at Universidad de Santiago, also known as USACH, so we both are studying in Santiago and isn’t complicated to reunite us.

I consider her as my best friend because of a lot of things. She always supported me on everything, so I try to do the same thing. Also we are taking care of each other, so the love is mutual.

I can’t remember a best memory because we have a lot of best memories (also I’ve short term memory, so I can’t remember exactly) but every time we spend together is a good time.

We try to see each other every week, but if we couldn’t, we try to call or texting every day. This thing makes us near in a kind of way.

Here is a photo of us when we were classmates and already best friends.

The best concert I've had

Honesty, I go to concerts a lot. I love music so always I try to assist to shows of my favorite artists. But the most important concert to me was: Bruce Springsteen.

Springsteen is an American singer, musician and songwriter. I know his music about years ago so when he posted he would come to Chile, I needed those tickets.

Well, it was September 12th of 2013. He and his band – called The E Street Band – played at Movistar Arena Santiago. It wasn’t a sold out but definitely it was the best concert of my entire life.

The reasons are simple: he is The Boss (as he is known). His performance at stage is absolutely amazing. And he’s 64 but his energy was if he was a teenager.

The show last 3 and a half hours. And he did everything on stage: run, jump, talk in Spanish, covering Chilean songs, crowd-surfing, take fans to stage and as if that wasn't enough, he kissed a girl from crowd. A-ma-zing.

I’ve got the best memories of this night. And also, this concert was the first one that I assisted alone, so it was a total new experience to me.

Also, music critics and journalists said it was the best concert of 2013 too, so this show is special to many people because it was the first time (and maybe the last one) that Bruce came to Chile. And please, if you have one chance to see him (one day) please please do it
!.

Here is a song by Bruce (most popular) called Born in the Usa

See ya!

My Favourite Movie

Firstly, I have to say that I’m not good seeing movies. I don’t know why but I prefer to read books so, I haven’t see a lot of movies in my life but quite of opposite, I watched a few of them.

So, I can consider two movies as my favourites all the time. The first one is “August Rush” and the second one is “If I Stay”. But in this blog I’m going talk about the first one.

August Rush is the story of a boy called Evan Taylor (Freddie Highmore) who lost his parents. He never knew them at all but the only thing that keeps him alive was the music.

His parents met each other in a party; his mother, Lyla (Keri Russell), was a recognized cellist and his father, Louis (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), was the lead singer of a rock band. After they meet, they slept together but they separated in the next morning and they never seen again but after a couple days, Lyla realized she was pregnant.

When Evan is eleven, he lives in an orphanage outside New York because his grandfather puts him in adoption and that’s the reason why he’s always trying to look for his parents and the music is who take them back.

So, Evan runs away from orphanage and follows his music. After he’s found for people who try to use his talent and earn money because of him.

Opposite, his mother after knows his son is alive, she try to find him and also Louis try to find Lyla after he broke up with his wife.

In the end, Evan is selected to play his rhapsody in a concert under the pseudonym of August Rush and besides his mother decided to play cello again in the same concert. Louis knows that Lyla will play there so that’s how they all meet for a very first time.

The last part of this movie is my favourite one because they finally reunited , this is very emotional. And I wouldn’t change anything about the movie because it is perfect.

This movie is my favourite because I feel the music the same way as Evan did, so I feel a little emotional about that.

If you love the music, definitely you must to see this movie.

Thanks for reading.
