Today i’m going to comment about a piece of
news that involves a lot of people who live in Santiago: Transantiago strike.
Since the beginning of the day, bus drivers
started a labor strike because their labor laws. In my opinion, their demand is
fair because they don’t have minimum requisites to work or even they don’t have
a right place to rest or to eat in their lunch hour.
But, even when they are in all their right,
the citizens are the victims. Especially the working-class who needs to travel
hours to go to work or study or everything. Always the periphery of the city is
the most effect of everything and in this case isn’t the exception.
I live on Puente Alto, the commune with
more population density, and travel around the city is difficult already so
when all those things happens we keep enclosed and we can’t do nothing to
change about.
Arriving the university was hard this
morning to me, because buses didn’t stopped to catch people or they didn’t
passed.
News like that are awful. Tv always show us
the bad news first and it affects the viewers. I would like to watch on TV
cheerful news or something like that. Sometimes, people needs to see good
things to change their mood and television have the power to do it even without
lose their mission of inform the country.
See ya next week!
transantiago really hurts my heart and my body, specially my legs, and sometimes my lungs. some hero hasto fix it, in a future that i'm waiting.
